It has a population of approx 230 and covers an area of 1,164 square kilometres or 449 sq miles. Nungarin townsite is situated approx. 40 kilometres (25 miles) north of Merredin and approx. 300 kilometres (186 miles) east of the state capital, Perth.
Nungarin is a small but progressive RV friendly town with many attractions for the tourist; from natural beauty to an amazing heritage pub on the main street and monthly market Sundays that fill the centre of town with stalls.
If you enjoy a bit of physical exercise you will not be disappointed. Nungarin boasts a sports oval, tennis courts, a swimming pool and recreation centre. We are a pet friendly town, with most venues allowing pets. Please check the link below.

Reviews

Your townsite is a delightful place and people were welcoming. The Tidy Town award well deserved. The tour taking me to see carpets of wildflowers in the morning and historic places in the afternoon was a real highlight for me. The tour guide and driver were friendly, courteous, going out of their way to ensure we enjoyed the experience.

Travelling with a group of 8, thoroughly enjoyed the Mangowine Concert.
