Tourism
Nungarin is a small Wheatbelt town, rich in history and adventure. We were an Ordnance Base in WWII & now have just ~240 people in our Shire. Although small, our town has a great amount to offer our visitors with many options for food and accommodation.
We have beautiful and unique destinations waiting to amaze those who visit.
We take pride in promoting our natural treasures as they are a huge part of our tourism.
We encourage those who venture and stay at these places to please leave no rubbish and respect the land.
We house an enormous history behind us, with most buildings within the town dating back to early 1900.
Wheatbelt folk are friendly and willing to help, if in need of information simply just ask a local.
There are many places to seek information such as the Shire Office and the Nungarin Visitor Centre. The Visitor Centre is located in the Post Office building with a neighboring information board/outdoor brochure holder.
The CRC, which is also umbrellaed under the Post Office building is a Tourism Accredited Business providing quality information and guides.
