Eaglestone Rock

Eaglestone Rock is a spectacular natural granite rock and cave formation situated 20km north east of Nungarin.  It is accessed via Lake Brown South Road and the rock itself abuts Lake Brown. Enjoy great views over the salt lake to the east and north. Patches of York Gum woodland abut the rock which has stands of red Kunzea pulchella adding patches of colour in late spring. Wedgetail eagles are often seen perched on the Rock.  Eaglestone is also a popular rock climbing spot for hobby and professional rock climbers.
The rock is a great place to take the kids to explore and there is some lovely shade on the western side of Lake Brown for a barbecue..
